Frequently Asked Questions and Billing Information
Do you offer free consultations?

I offer free 15-minute phone consultations prior to scheduling your first appointment. This will allow us to get to know each other and decide if we think we might be a good fit. I will provide additional details about my practice and ask you to tell me a little about what you are hoping to work on in counseling. Contact me to set up a time to connect.

Do you accept my insurance?

I do not accept insurance directly, although you may be able to access your benefits with me as an-of-network provider. Always check with your insurance provider first. I am happy to provide a receipt of services (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Unfortunately, I am unable to work with clients who have Medicaid due to Colorado regulations prohibiting providers from collecting payment for Medicaid-covered items or services.

What are your fees?

My current rate for individual services is $165/50-minute session.

I offer a limited number of discounted fee appointments each week for individuals with a demonstrated need – please contact me to see if you may be eligible for a discounted fee.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require 24 hours notice if you cannot attend session. If you do not provide notice you will be charged for your scheduled time. I understand emergencies happen so please communicate with me if you need to reschedule.
